Typhoon Lagoon is a Florida waterpark that is open year-round. The park features ninety water slides, as well as one of the world's largest artificial waves pools.  Typhoon Lagoon has been open since 1989, and features a fifty foot geyser that erupts every thirty minutes.

Typhoon Lagoon offers the visitor's the thrill of the world's largest wavepool. Just like Disney's other attractions, there park features a theme, and this one is all about the giant typhoon that hit a perfect island. Ships and seafaring paraphanalia are strewn about everywhere and adds to the fun and thrill of visiting the waterpark.

There are several major attractions at Typhoon Lagoon, including a tube slide, a shark reef, and a two and a half hour surf lesson that will teach the family the ins and outs of riding the waves. The park is fun and educational, and the kids will remember their vacation for a very long time. The Crush-n-Guster was the first watercoaster built for a Disney Waterpark.
