Rotary Storyland and Playland

Rotary Storyland and Playland is more than just a waterpark. It is an adventure for kids of all ages!  The park has been in operation since 1955, when a prominent member of the community decided it would be a great idea to offer rides and fun to the children, and allow the excess profits to return to the city in order to enhance other parks. Storyland came along a few years later, and was based on the favorite fairy tales of children everywhere.

The park is located in Fresno, California and is a fantastic destination for field trips, and daycare outings. The park offers special fieldtrip programs that focus on education and literacy. Storyland and Playland also feature weekly live storytelling events and special festivals celebrating the holidays. Included in the excitement are carnival rides such as a classic merry-go-round, a ferris wheel, and thrill rides such as a helicopter ride, and rollercoaster.

The park offers special membership rates for families, so those with young children can return again and again for the events and fun at the park. The rates are very reasonable and include perks such as free entrance to special festivals, discounted entrance to the Chaffee Zoo, and a free soft drink with each visit. Storyland and Playland also offers birthday packages that include special add-ons to the basic package such as party favor bags, unlimited rides, or visits from storybook characters.
