Children's Fairyland

Children's Fairyland offers families ten acres of fun where children's stories come to life. The park includes storybook sets, gentle rides, friendly animals, puppet shows and live entertainment. It is a great place for the imaginations of children to run wild while they experience the whimsy and fun of their favorite fairy tales.

Since 1950, Fairyland has entertained families with its just-right rides and attractions for the littlest in the family. The park has seen a resurgence in popularity since 2004, and has won several awards including “Best of the Bay” (San Francisco Chronicle), “Best Amusement Park” and “Best Children’s Theater” (Bay Area Parent).

The park features attractions that are more than just gentle thrill rides. There is a reading room where families can cozy up for a few quick tales of delight before heading back out into the sunshine.  There is an art center, open on weekends, that allows children to explore their inner artists through the use of crayons, paint, clay, and other art materials. The park also offers a multicultural storytellers’ program, bringing a variety of storytellers to the park on weekends throughout the summer.

Children's Fairyland is a great destination for field trips and birthday parties. The park will help you plan the party right down to the paper hats and cake, or you can have a do-it-yourself party, in their Teddy Bear Picnic Grove. The Picnic Grove is available on the first come, first serve basis. If you are concerned about availability, the Japanese Tea Garden, and or the Cinderella Party area are both available for reservations. Children's Fairyland has long been a northern California tradition that children and families have shared. Bring your children and make your own memories!
