Great Wolf Lodge
Pocono Mountains, Pennsylvania
The Great Wolf Lodge in the Pocono Mountains is a great family getaway that will not break the bank. The park features several separate areas filled with water adventures. Fort Mackenzie is a four-story interactive treehouse offering twelve levels of super-soaking fun. The youngest kids can climb with their parents to the slides at the top of the fort. Kids will love making their way over suspension bridges and cargo nets to spray stations and soaker buckets. The best of all soaker buckets is the 1,000-gallon one that sits atop Fort Mackenzie. Every few minutes, the warning bell clangs, and the bucket begins to tip over the roof and onto the children group below.
Coyote Cannon is a 436-foot enclosed slide that twists and turns through the darkness, and spits you into the splash pool. Pair up with the kids, or send them solo. River Canyon Run allows families to travel in an inner tube down the waterslide, laughing all the way. Like other waterparks, Great Wolf Lodge also offers a lazy river and a wave pool, so the fun never ends.
The Gr8_Space tech center offers games, computer access, and Ipods for teens to have a great time with their friends, new and old. The Lodge also features an arcade, MagiQuest interactive famly game, story time, and even a kid's spa, featuring ice cream themed manicures, facials, and pedicures! There is enough at this Lodge to keep families busy for a week or more! Plan a memorable vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge any time of the year. Your family will love you for it.
