Little Bayou Wave Pool

The Little Bayou Wave Pool in the city of La Porte is small, but offers a lot of great water fun for the whole family. The park is open during the hottest of Texas summer months, May through August. The highlight of the park is their super water pool. The pool is fun for the whole family and generates waves that can be as high as four feet! For fun on dry land, the park offers sand volleyball courts which can be used for organized games or just for fun when there are no organized games in session. There are also horseshoe pits, tennis courts, and a nature trail. This truly is a park where there is something for everyone. There are lots of ways for kids to burn off their summer energy!

If a summer picnic is what you have in mind, this is a great place for it. The trails and fields feature a variety of picnicing locations. There is also ample space to play baseball or frisbee, and jogging trails meander around the other activities.
